Pama international - I Just Can't Help Believing

This northern soul take on the Elvis classic (writen by legendary writing duo Cynthia Weil & Barry Mann) has been along time coming. Pama International first recorded this over ten years ago! Over the last decade a series of six vocalists were recorded but sadly no one captured the spirit needed and the track was put back in the cupboard.

The tapes were recently unearthed, and upon first listen the direction for it was glaringly obvious (!)... it screamed... do a Booker T & The MGs styled organ instrumental! The results were an instant win. Sometimes the best ideas are right under your nose!
